My focus is on engineering technological strategies for digital radio, aiming to break down the barriers that currently hinder the widespread adoption of this new way of experiencing radio.

I intend to serve as a facilitating bridge between the digital radio industry in Brazil, recognizing the immense difficulty that standards bodies, manufacturers, and the general population face in establishing effective communication — a challenge that only deepens the paralysis of the analog-to-digital radio transition in Brazil and even contributes to the slow progress in areas where the process has already begun.

Technical and Analytical Skills

Expertise in Broadcasting (FM)

knowledge of digital transmission systems (DRM, DAB, HD Radio)

Technical analysis of coverage and spectral efficiency

Strategic planning for broadcasting networks

Feasibility studies for radio station modernization and digitization

Project development for AM/FM/SW digital transition

Market and Data Analysis

Real-time audience analytics (Shoutcast, RadiosNet, YouTube)

Comparative studies between digital and traditional platforms

Interpretation of listener engagement and behavior metrics

Identification of commercial opportunities in local and digital media

Strategic and Communication Skills

Development of white papers and technical reports for institutional use

Strategic communication within the broadcasting industry

Ability to simplify complex technical content for a broader audience

Skilled in aligning technical analysis with economic and social impact

Global Vision and Innovation

Promotion of accessible technological innovation in emerging regions

Commitment to digital inclusion for traditional radio audiences

Specialized Content Production

Writing of technical, historical, and analytical articles

Ability to turn technical knowledge into practical manuals and reports

Authorial style with strong thematic impact (e.g., historical radio analysis, DRM vs. DAB comparisons)

In parallel, I develop reflections and content on my website www.BlogdoRg.com.br, where I explore topics related to economics, technology, and emerging trends.

Currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, I aim to integrate the fields of humanities and numbers to better understand, and anticipate, mass behavior and human relationships.

My mission is to understand how technology transforms society and how we can use this knowledge to build more human-centered, efficient, and sustainable strategies.

Always open to dialogue, collaboration, and projects involving innovation, people, and real impact.

Forget about RDS and focus on your radio’s streaming, RDS is just Morse code
I do not want, in any way, to diminish the vital importance of Morse code. It saved lives and was created with the best of intentions. The point here is another: we are no longer in the era of the invention of the wheel, today we use alloy wheels and seek to extract the maximum performance from our engines. Imagine leaving Natal heading toward João Pessoa via BR-101 while listening to a radio station. You begin the trip and continue with clean audio, free of static. Over the course of about...

People are confusing defending “Radio” with defending “FM”
The migration from AM to FM AM and FM are just transport layers for radio. In the beginning, radio was “packaged” in AM, and for many years that was the main format by which it was known. When FM arrived, there was resistance: AM fans argued that FM could not cover the same distances, while FM advocates replied that AM could not deliver the sound quality FM offered. For a time, that was the tradeoff: AM provided reach, FM provided audio fidelity or at least something close to it. As...
